At South By Sea, we’re an Independent Record Label located in Nashville, TN that has a small but experienced staff that has allowed us to continue to grow every day while working with buzzing artists such as Kaptan, Frankie, Ofelia K, and many more. At SxS we have a few different dynamics here; we not only have the label, but we as well have a publishing arm, 2 recording studios, and we employ an ever growing team for our on-site screen printing service all within two refurbished warehouses on the East Side; giving us one of the most unique and fun environments in Nashville.

Being an Independent label, it means that we all tend to wear a couple hats to make sure our work gets done and help the team as a whole grow. In saying that, we’re are now looking for a bright, motivated, and open minded person looking to take another step towards following their dreams in music here in Music City. We’re excited to be filling a 3 month Music Internship here at our label.

The intern will assist in our recording studios, assist in A&R, Spotify, Publishing, and other music related tasks and research. So getting a well rounded knowledge base from recording to release. Based on our current needs and Interns career focus, we will do our best to maintain focal points during the internship to better tailor the learning experience to the intern's career goals.

The intern will be expected to dedicate 15-20 hours a week to the internship. This internship requires living local to the Nashville area. Anyone can apply for this internship, although any current students must be able to earn college credits for the duration of the internship.
